Convert your Laptop to a Wireless Hotspot

I just tested it on my Windows 7 ASUS K42J Laptop so I think that all Laptop with a WiFi built in should work

Here are the step on how to convert your laptop to a wireless hotspot using windows 7

First go to Control Panel under Network and Internet Click View Network Status and Tasks

Second Click Set up a new connection or network

Third a Pop up Menu will show Choose a connection option then Scroll down Choose Set up Wireless

ad hoc (Computer-to-Computer) Network then Click Next Next

Fourth Type your Network Name for Security Type I Choose No authentication (Open) their will be no password if you want to have a password when accessing your WiFi change your Security type to WEP and type your Password and its up to you if you want to check the save this network.

Click Turn on Internet connection sharing

Fifth click start button and then search for Windows features then click Turn Windows features on or off

Sixth make sure that all box of Microsoft .NET Framework are in check or enabled
