How to Connect/Install deb files for iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad using WinSCP

What do you need?

• Your iDevice
• Internet Connection
• Wi-Fi (If you don't have a router use this Tutorial Using Laptop) Convert Your Laptop to a Wireless Hotspot
• OpenSSH (Install Using Cydia)
• iFile (Install using Cydia)
• WinSCP (Download at their Site) Click Here

Download WinSCP on their Site then Install

Install OpenSSH and iFile using Cydia on your iDevice

Determine your iDevice IP Address Go to Setting >Wi-Fi > Then click the Arrow at the side of the Wi-Fi Name then get the IP Address shown in your iDevice.

Open WinSCP (Make Sure that your iTunes is not Open) then type your IP Address on the Host name then User name as root then password alpine

Then a Warning sign will popup then click yes

After clicking the Yes Button you will be redirected in your iDevice system folders private/var/root 


For installing .deb files for your iDevice just copy and paste the .deb files in the root directory then install it using iFile.
